Tianze Dumpling House

The place is tidy and the shop took 2 shop lots. Heard their food was good and so just had to try. Had 4 dishes that included one steam dumpling. The dishes were a little salty as the balance between the amount of sauces used might be off. The flavours were lacking as one just can't figure out the taste! Perhaps overload of sauces, chilli, oil and possible even MSG. It was rather disappointing. Further, although we were the only customer, the wait time dishes between dishes need to improve as they came out quite irregularly. We even had to chase for our dumplings as it took almost 35mins after the first dish! Saving grace is the dumpling is fairly decent, otherwise it would be just one star. I would not be revisiting this shop anytime soon. Parking: 3 side parking slot outside the shop if you're lucky. Otherwise, roadside parking further down the road

Called in on the way home. First time here, and the food was delicious. We will be back. Very welcoming .

Holy smokes!! Good good good. Star was lamb and cumin, up there was fried egg plant, good dumplings too. Lots of spicy goodness. Felt like family favourites done extremely well and well priced. $50 a head including beers and we were stuffed full!

Have been to this restaurant several times. Has done some facelift outside. Inside was quite normal but spacious and pleasant. Not an upper class restaurant but the food was tasty and every time we dine in the restaurant the taste of the food was consistent. The price was reasonable. In fact the service was quite good and friendly. No worry, no language problem. The waitress spoke English. Booking is recommended if you have a big group. We still dine there occasionally. If you like Chinese food you may not like to miss this place.

Ive lived in Auckland for 14 yrs. And 2 years in China. I know a thing or two about Dumplings. Tianze is hands down my favorite. Pork & chives is legendary. Had spocy beef last night. Was good too. Chicken as well. Juicy and delicious.. Must must tryyyyyy

Our family of 5 had dinner here for the first time and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. The French beans fried with mince pork was outstanding. The pork ribs dish is a must try. And don’t miss the claypot seafood tofo.

Highly recommended place if you’re looking for a cozy byo place! Very tasty food and great staff! 10/10 will definitely coming back

Spicy chicken was great. It was super crispy. Especially milk pancakes are stunning! We had to order another one!

Amazing dumplings. Best ones so far, better taste and different texture. Was our first time here, will definitely be going back for more dumplings.
