My friends highly recommended this seafood restaurant, my expectations were also set very high. Unfortunately, upon trying it out, the taste and quality of the ingredients were average at best.

Their seafood hotpot meal is so good. Big portions and tasty. Great value compare to other places too.

New owner, new Management. Live sea food hot pot $168 Good value and enough for 4 people. Super busy weekend and long waiting times. Suggest order in advance.

We were so surprised too come across this amazing fresh seafood restaurant. The lady owner was very helpful and recommended the seafood hot pot that came with fresh seafood and sashimi. My wife and I loved the meal it was tasty, fresh and great value. As a Chef and Artisan Baker I tip my hat to the chef and owner of this place.

the best yam char restaurant in Auckland Old fashion but the food is fantastic ****** That was before Covid 928 Yamchar had been in the same location for decades. After Covid it turned into a seafood lovers paradise, offering fresh cook seafood menus including hotpot and stir-fry. $198 as a base for a rich ingredients seafood combination hotpot. It sounds pretty expensive but it's actually worthy to give it a try Two of us were so full with this basic seafood hotpot, we should get more people to order more .

Dishes are tasteless, very expensive when comparing with the quality. Over $300 for 3 adults and a 3 years old. Won't go back again as there many places out there do better then them. However, the service is good and very helpful staffs.

Fresh seafood. Very tasty. A nice place to have fresh seafood in auckland. Staff and manager are very friendly and helpful. I will say this is the best services I’ve ever had in Chinese restaurants in NZ.

Buffet hot pot, cook it yourself.very good food selection. Good fun. Staff helpful and friendly. speaks very good English. Explanation of how hotpot works if needed. Payment by weight of food, which I think is very fair. Lots of seafood available. Parking not very convenient at busy times

Always good value, good food, though I have noted there more oily food of late, has seamed to have an oil taint. But still my favourite Yum Char.
