Small but lovely restaurant..they were very busy when we visited which is why it took a while for the food to be served, but it was worth waiting for! The staff's English is not great, but with the help of other customers, we got it sorted! We had pancakes, egg and chives, cabbage and glass noodles, gua ba rou a sweet pork dish and sour chilli potatoes. The food is North Eastern Chinese and one of my favourite regional foods! Highly recommended. Kid-friendliness: Definitely child-friendly, but no room for push-chairs. Parking: Free parking on the main road and on side roads. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a small ramp at front of restaurant, but inside is not suitable for wheelchairs - not enough room.
Really enjoyed the food - delicious and a new way of eating Chinese food with pancakes. Busy little shop, don't think it has a toilet, the two staff team do a commendable job getting food out quickly. It's not a flash place but I really liked it, food was great and I'd come back.Food: 5/5
A small shop that serves up a large menu. The pancake wraps are a bit glutinous so they won't break when you wrap them. They come in a set of 5 or 10. You can order a range of different dishes to use to wrap but you can also substitute the wraps for rice. The Shredded Pork in Peking Sauce seems to be a popular choice there as well as the Sweet and Sour Pork which appears on almost every table. We also got the Stir Fry Pork Belly with Potatoes, the Eggs and Chives Pancake that, and the Shanghainese Smoked Fish. All dishes were tasty though a little oily. The shop is small inside and gets very crowded at night thus becomes quite stuffy with little airflow. Customer and food service is fast and satisfactory but wait time could be a bit longer, especially during warmer months. Overall shop is clean and tidy.
This is one of our favourite place for lunch. It is a small place and usually quite crowded. Be early and you will get your table. Though small but sitting was pretty comfortable. Service was friendly and the food was good. The servings were reasonable and the prices were affordable. If you like some simple Chinese food, this may be the place for you.
Food is great and service is good. The staff were trying everything they could to serve the dishes ASAP. However, we waited for more than an hour until the last dish was served. It is apparently understaffed and the owner is doing NOTHING about it. I would have given a 5 star if the owner were actually running it properly and ably.
The food is nice but the service is absolutely horrid. The guy who served us was aggressive and let out a huge sigh when we were asking a question while ordering. We ordered two dishes and one of them didn’t come out until we were finished with our first dish and was certain he forgot about our other dish. We literally had left our table and was at the counter to pay when he saw us and brought it out. The table next to us had around 6 dishes that came out with no delay even though they ordered after us.
Very good table service by the staffs. Excellent Chinese dishes.
Super yummy and value for money. Gets pretty busy so worth visiting earlyRecommended dishesShredded Potatoes and Gua Ba Rou
We have a delicious dinner here and price reasonable.
Pretty good. Flavor of dishes met 90% of my expectations since I am from China. But this is a good place for authentic Chinese food.
