San Bao Restaurant

Nice discovery, we took the Bao chicken and the Bao of the month Beef and both were good. The staff is really nice. Unfortunately we find it expensive as the Baos are quite little, not enough at all for a quick lunch. Price: 15 EUR for what's on the pictures. Visited on 5th January 2023.Food: 5/5

Good place for an economical, fast and tasty lunch or snack. They had just introduced their pork belly bao the day we visited, that was truly worth 5 stars. The beef bao was a bit dry, but still pretty good. Super friendly and helpful staff!

Great small bao spot in Ixelles. Would have definitely returned if we had the time. Pork belly is a must!

Good Bao buns, nice fillings and sauces, we tried warm pork and crevettes, i can especially recommend the crevette one, very tasty. Good thing is that it is open during the whole day when other places can be closed, also there were a lot of free tables. We also liked their mochi and a bubble tea :

Small and nice place for a quick bite. I've tried the shrimp bun and the dumplings/dim sum -also with shrimp- and they were delicious. The lady that cooked and served the food was very kind and friendly.

Excellent! Very tasty food, home-made with fresh ingredients bursting with flavours, for a fair price. Their chrysanthemum tea is proper tea, i.e. real dried chrysanthemum flowers steeped in hot water, as opposed to the instant powder tea that can be found in your average Chinese eatery. The place, and more specifically kitchen, is clean. As an avid bao eater of Oriental descent, I most definitely recommend this place!

Very fresh and home maid buns. Delicious and crispy. Very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Will certainly come back here.

Based on the good reviews I tried the Poulet Satée which had a strange curry flavour though and was drowned in fried onions. Rather disappointing experience, considering also the price for four mini Dim Sum.

We are big fans of this place: the owners are super nice, it’s a pleasure to get some meals because you always leave with a smile. Most importantly: the Baos are very tasty! Go for their home made deserts as well! From our side we will continue to be regular customers for sure.
