The Yellow House Cafe

Lunch on a Saturday. We are returning customers as we enjoyed our first visit here and were keen to return.nUnfortunately our second experience wasn’t as good as the first. Menu seemed to be reduced with limited options compared to previous.nOverall we had: cream and jam scone - average; pineapple ham savoury muffin - average; lamb burger - good; loaded wedges good.nFrom this we concluded cabinet food is so so and the menu is the go.

Omgeeee, fell in love with this spot. Best soy caramel latte I've had in a long time. Love the layout and of course the food too!!

A super cute cafe to stop at on the drive to Wellington! The staff were so friendly and very considerate of our dietary restrictions, the food was delicious, and the dining area featured a gorgeous collection of local artwork. Highly recommend!

Quite literally, the cafe was a ‘yellow house’! With excellent food, staff and atmosphere. This cafe hits you instantly with nostalgia with its charming and quaint homely vibes. The food was a hit, fresh, fast, hot and VERY delicious, we would recommend the loaded wedges and pulled lamb burger for a rustic, tasty lunch. The staff were wonderful, welcoming and kind. A MUST stop if driving through Whanganui!

My friend and I were very impressed by your batista, Peter, who brought us our coffee and food. He was friendly, attentive and efficient, and when he saw us looking at the greeting cards on display he pointed out where other cards were for us to view. Always nice yo be served with a smile.
