Beautiful dish, also delicious. I ordered a Steak Sammie, just like a variation of sandwich but only with one bread, it goes with kumara crisp and pickled beetroot which are nice. This is an amazing combination, I really like it.Food: 5/5
My partner and I stopped here for breakfast one morning before heading off to work, the food was so good we decided to come back the next day also before we left Whanganui. The staff were super friendly and helpful, service was quite quick too despite being busy. We had their take on a bubble & squeak and the bacon butty the beetroot relish is delish .
I had about 1.5 hours to burn before hopping onto my Intercity bus. Was lovely to just park up here sit outside, have a nice coffee and a lovely meal. I had something with hashbrows I think. I liked it. Yummy. Nice atmosphere. Happy patrons Kid-friendliness: Happy kids were there
What stood out to me at Mud Ducks was the incredible service. The two guys we had serving us were fantastic - so outgoing and friendly. I haven't had service this good in a long time. Well done for employing these fantastic servers! The eggs bene and french toast were awesome too.Food: 5/5
OMG, I did not realize you could improve on perfection, but my visit to #mudducks today was out of this world , . For #brunch, I ordered the Bangers & Hash with a kumara rosti, 2-1 special drinks - #mimosa The kai was sublime, scrumptious and so enjoyable . The bangers - pork & fennel - was delicious and deserved a special mention, but the rest of the kai was as ka pai. The kāwhe was perfect, as was the Mimosas - never too early for one lol, and not really a drinker of alcohol, was really nice. Generally, I try to go to different Cafés when back in a town, but when one is as ka pai as Mud Ducks, you just have to keep going back, I definitely recommend you do too.
Hopped in straight off the bus after arriving in Whanganui. Made an excellent pit stop to set me up for the day. Great service and delicious tomatoes on toast garnished with dukkha, and a long black. Would definitely recommend Food: 5/5
Food was an excellent portion for us not ridiculously huge! A smiley, friendly waiter. Buzzy atmosphere! We'd go again...Food: 4/5
I wanted a steak pie with my coffee. They had sold out. I chose steak & bacon. It turned out to be steak & cheese, not what i wanted. I told male waiter, but told him that was ok. Coffee was great, but their small food selection not up to my standard or taste.
Great place for lunch! I had the pulled beef cheek with caramelised onion on potato hash and my partner had the brekkie roll - delicious! Coffee was great and my partner raved about the spiced chai. Service was a little slow but they were super busy so can't criticise!Food: 5/5
Incredible staff - very friendly and accomodating, great coffee, lovely food and a nice setting. Can’t fault it! Definitely worth the visit if you’re from out of town and looking for a nice cafe
