This wasn’t our first visit & we will keep coming back here every time we come to Whanganui oftentimes. Service is consistently amazing. The staffs are customer friendly and truly attentive. Bridgette did exactly just that with us. She patiently waited and attentively listened to our dietary restrictions. Thanks Bridgette! You are a superstar.nFood was okay and we enjoyed it but not too exciting. I’m sure we had it better somewhere but the service is also a great reason to come back for.

Nice food and nice environment, everyone enjoyed their meal. I was really hoping the loaded fries would have gravy, maybe next time.

Came for dinner last night 17th Jan 2026 with my husband,daughter & son in law.Booked for 6.15 pm arrived & a very lovely young waitress looked after us,she was really good.Three of us ordered scotch filled steak @41 dollars each plus eggs. I order was pork ribs which was great.2 of the steak meals which were medium rare came out & the steak was cold,the eggs on all 3 plates were completely flat & yolk hard looked like rubber from the bottom of your shoes.The medium steak was ok.We sent 2 steaks back & my daughter was so put off she didn't reorder.They made my son in law another steak & he waited 35 more minutes the eggs were exactly like the first.At this stage we just didn't care.The waitress came and apologized & gave my daughter a free beer.They didn't charge for her steak that went back but when you are paying those prices you expect better.

Had lunch here today and it was great! The staff were friendly and attentive. The drinks were good and the food was great! We both got the loaded fries, I got the chicken one, my partner got the one with pork. The restaurant itself was very vibey with funky art and plants scattered throughout.

We keep coming back here every time we visit Whanganui. The play area is excellent and the service is always spot on. However, I have been consistently disappointed with the food on each visit. It's a bit dry, ingredients are missed and it overall could be better.
