Impromptu lunch out with a client from work. He recommended this place highly and I can see why! Service was personally delivered and first name terms used. We felt very taken care off. I will def return to try out some of the amazing rum I've heard you stock - next time it will be an after work ado!
Lovely restaurant, great interior, closest to Cuba feeling you can get in Glasgow. Food was excellent and a brilliant selection of drinks. Staff are polite, attentive and helpful. For covid they have a order at the table menu which works great. Got some salads, nachos and drinks. Don't know what goes in it but the sweetcorn in the salad is great. Definitely recommend if you just want to chill and relax for a few hours. Update Sept 22. They have recently changed the menu, food is almost the same but drinks menu has been drastically reduced.
Was a walk in looking for something to eat and thought the decor was excellent and the staff were friendly and attentive. Food was lovely. Will make a return visit at night as has real Cuba vibe
We were really looking forward to our afternoon tea. On arrival we were asked to confirm our vegan version. No, not a vegetarian one either. Just one with no peppers as per the email correspondence. Our prosecco was brought to us and dumped unceremoniously and the surly waitress left. Our food platters arrived, and it looked and tasted delicious, until the quesedillas... loaded with peppers cooked in. I tried to scrape them off but have been suffering since. No one came to see if we were enjoying out meal or wanted any further drinks. The whole place lacked atmosphere during this hot Saturday afternoon Doubt we'll be back to this venue Dietary restrictions: They didn't follow mine despite being made aware by email booking and conformation on the day
The quality of the cocktails left something to be desired and the food failed to make a significant impression. All in all, I'm disappointed to say that I won't be returning anytime soon.
Brilliant day out with friends to celebrate a birthday. Cocktails amazing plenty to choose from some thing for every one . Food just as good ...the girl who looked after us amazing very good and quick. Highly recommended it definitely going back but this time for cocktails master class
It's a nice place but super hard to book a table. For 5 people, we were asked to pre order min 175£, and I didn't find the staff very friendly and nice to all. However, the DJ was good and played good songs:
I'm Colombian, I recently arrived in Scotland and I really wanted to feel a good Latin atmosphere and I couldn't have chosen better. Everything was great, the staff was super friendly and the food was excellent. The facilities are spacious and very nice. I recommend it without a doubt. I will be back.
Decent spot for drinks, a little daunting on entry with a staff member dismissing us without a reservationnto the bar area. Not their fault, if its busy it's busy. Guy who served us behind the bar makes a good cocktail and is friendly and helpful. Seems like a popular spot and is worth visiting for a drink at least. Generic South American decoration around the interior.
