Cameron Pools and Leisure Centre is a well-run, community-focused facility that places clear emphasis on wellbeing, inclusion, and accessibility. It serves a diverse community, welcoming people of all cultures, body types, and ages, from young children through to older adults, in a way that feels respectful and genuinely inclusive.nnThe centre functions as more than just a gym and pool complex. It operates as a true community space, offering opportunities for people to work out, swim, rehabilitate, or simply spend time in a supportive environment that meets a wide range of needs.nnFacilities are strong across both the gym and aquatic areas. The gym is well equipped and suitable for different fitness levels, while the pool services are thoughtfully organised. Clearly assigned swim lanes help manage different abilities and activities, reducing congestion and improving safety and comfort for all users. The pools are complemented by a spa and sauna, providing additional options for recovery and relaxation, along with an indoor shower that adds to the overall convenience of the facility. A well-designed ramp ensures the pools are accessible for people with mobility challenges, supporting independence and dignity in use.nnThe changing facilities are a shared common space, so visitors should be aware of this when planning their visit. Staff are consistently friendly and approachable, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere and helping the centre feel safe and supportive.nnOverall, Cameron Pools and Leisure Centre stands out as a place that actively looks after its community, providing quality facilities in an environment that prioritises respect, accessibility, and wellbeing for everyone.
A great place to go for cardio, community and conversation. Everyone including the members are friendly and always up for a chat. The staff are helpful and authentic, I follow their instagram page, they post some funny videos, showing their unique personalities.nnI'll return for sure, even if it's just for a hot chocolate at the café!nnThey have a 25m Pool and a separate Kiddies Pool, Spa, Sauna and Steam room, two types of gyms and some cool classes upstairs too.nnI'll take more pictures next time I visit :

The atmosphere is positive, friendly, and motivating for everyone.nnA special appreciation to Savannah, the manager, for her outstanding professionalism, kindness, and support. She handles everything with a genuine smile and always makes people feel comfortable and respected. Her dedication and positive attitude truly make a big difference in creating such a great environment.nnHighly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality gym and swimming facility in Auckland. Thank you to the entire team for your excellent service! ‍
I can only say this facility has done wonders for my well-being. Excellent facility and a more excellent staff members which make the experience incredible. I really wish everyone could experience the beauty of Cameron pools. Thank you for this facility and the excellent service you never fail to deliver. I am truly grateful .p.s. The receptionist always welcome you with warmth and a beautiful smile. Keisha and Savannah. I enjoy coming in and seeing you guys. Forever blessed
We joined the membership of this facility just last November. We noticed that every employee in this facility is doing their best to help improve the conditions of the facilities. Taking the front desk as a starting point, the staff behind the desk is always friendly and helpful. The swimming pool area is always kept clean. I want to highlight that there is no designated janitor for the overall cleaning of the center. The lifeguards’ duties are not only to keep an eye on the people in the pool, but also to clean the pool, the common areas around the pool and even the toilets and showers in the changing rooms. I would like to honor all of the lifeguards and especially two ladies, Izzy and Jessie, who I have seen working hard to keep the changing rooms and the pool clean.nWe consider ourselves fortunate that as we joined the gym, all of the equipments were new and were in place after the change over to CLM. We like the fitness programs that the gym instructors have created for us based on our needs. Special thanks to Chika and Kai for designing and updating our workout programs. Kai is not only always roaming around the two gyms to provide support but also been mopping and vacuuming the gyms! Kudos to Kai!nUnfortunately, in numerous occasions we noticed that some inconsiderate users have left the changing rooms in very messy conditions, eg. leaving the sinks messy after use, leaving rubbish on the floor in the shower cubicles and the toilets. However, we appreciate that the staff have been doing their very best to keep the facility clean.
