Great park for all sorts. Fenced dog area, missing water facilities around there or maybe I'm blind? Lots of parking and different areas to enjoy plus there's the historical village
Great pool and leisure centre. Would rate it one of the best in Auckland for getting some swimming laps in. Only annoying thing is all the strict Asian parents forcing their little kids to do intense endurance training amongst the adults. Slows everyone down and lifeguards seem not to care or do anything to police it.
If there is more than 5 stars, I would give it. Amazing staff in the gym and the pool. The pools are huge. The equipments in the gym are new and you can do virtual classes on the bikes and treadmills. The parking can be tricky, especially Saturdays.
We went for an afternoon splash at the splash pad. It was free to go in and let the kids run around outside. There were a few tables under shade available. Both nephews 1 and 5yo really enjoyed it. The swimming facilities inside also look new and nice but we just went to the splash pad.
Good facility’s, constant poor communication.nnOver the years I’ve been coming here the pools are quite often closed, with no services telling you.nnThe pools are currently closed and the phone services still say they are open and give you the hours. It not hard to change the opening hours to say they are closed.nnVery frustrating after getting the kids ready and going all the way there to find that. Not the first time either.
