Found our new favorite hangout!n​We just checked out Albany Stadium Pool, and it’s an absolute gem—and only a 9-minute drive from our place! The entire facility is super clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly.nn​Both of my sons had a blast. Really great place – happy to come back again and again. The staff are genuinely amazing! The reception team are always friendly and helpful. The facility itself is excellent, with a sauna, spa pool, adult pool, kids pool, toddler area, and a lane pool for swimming. One helpful tip – the last kids session finishes at 7pm, so if you want a quieter swim with adults only, go after 7. Also, it’s worth calling ahead before you go, as even if it shows as open, unexpected situations can sometimes happen. Highly recommend.
Nice place to take the kids for a swim. The pool has a fun water feature with a kids’ slide, and there’s a small café for snacks. Lockers are available for just $2. Plenty of toilets and changing rooms. There’s also a rock climbing wall, spa, and sauna. The spa was packed with older people, so there wasn’t much space to sit.
Took two of my nieces aged 6 & 9, that were here for the school holidays from Melbourne. They had a wonderful time, lots of activities to keep them occupied.
Nice pools if you go when quiet - programmes/lane pool is a little small and the slower lanes are quite shallow so if you're tall you risk hitting the floor, pool is generally better for leisure/practice/rehab rather than professional swims. Its also very warm for a lane pool! I think 30° something! They have a dedicated walking lane, slow-fast lanes and a rehab/slow lane. Rules kind of go out the window a bit with people walking in the slow lane etc but no harm done - only people swimming in med-fast lanes. Website usually up to date with closures etc. Leisure pool has a nice deep section to aqua jog and is also lovely and warm. Toddlers area looks fab for kids and smaller bubs. Changing rooms are European style and gender neutral, I couldn't find a private shower space, just the rinse showers which is fine just be prepared to shower in your togs next to other folks. People are generally polite and respectful during the week days when I've been.
