Not our first visit, and definitely not the last. Set menu is brilliant value for a midweek option. We love that the menus change monthly, so we get to try new things every time. Service was excellent. If I could change anything it would be lovely to have lunch on a Saturday.
Beautiful Fathers Day meal. The food was exquisite, the restaurant decor is really well done, and the ambience relaxed. The views are stunning and the staff are incredible. Great value for money and a true hidden gem. 100% recommend Kid-friendliness: Staff were incredible with the kids. Nice touches like having smaller cutlery for the children. Parking: Easy to park and cheap paid parking £1.40 for 2 hours
We had a wonderful anniversary meal here! Lovely warm atmosphere as the storm blew outside, spectacular food using seasonal ingredients, great service and delicious cocktails. Perfect night out!
This is a must-visit restaurant in an unlikely setting at the far end of the North Shields fish quay. Excellent value October menu with 4 courses, and each one between 4 of us each chose something different was superb. Service was faultless too, highly recommended!
Lovely Sunday lunch, the belly pork was tender, the crackling just right and the veg was all fresh. The staff were very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Loved the open kitchen, well worth a visit
We went here today to celebrate Christmas with our work team. Food is outstanding! Best Sunday dinner around and the gravy is delicious. Deserts are an absolute dream . Lovely spacious clean fresh restaurant with wonderful staff . Will definitely be back what a treat !
As a family we don't manage to eat together very much these days. A trip to the North East provided an excuse for a family dinner. Following a quick look at a number of possibilities, chance provided 31 Quayside in North Shields as the venue... Lucky us. North Shields has changed a bit since I lived in Newcastle in the sixties but this restaurant is a stunner. Easy to book, friendly reception, great location, lovely views and ferry and ship activity on the Tyne to remind us of where we were. Capping it all a great menu; in our set menu choices we had Focaccia, Cod Fritters, Ravioli, Courgettes, Brill, Pork, Bream and Pithivier. The desserts were Fondant, Raspberries and Souffle. Everything top quality, good value for money and attentively served in a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Fantastic Location Fantastic Food Reasonable prices but without doubt the best quality of the restaurant is its staff and their helpful friendly and efficient service - best service we have received in a long time. We definitely intend to return.
I took my friend from London to this wonderful restaurant for a special birthday. We were both absolutely blown away by the amazing food, and the lovely and welcoming atmosphere. We also had 3 excellent cocktails as well as a very nice bottle of wine. It was really good value for money. The staff were lovely and very efficient. If you are considering going for a meal here, I would say get booking. You will not be disappointed. Vegetarian options: Excellent and very appealing choice
Very nice Sunday lunch. Restaurant is in a great place, has lovely views and serves fabulous food.Food: 5/5
