Awesome little Café just around the corner from all the Motels down to the CBD. The prices are reasonable, service is quick fast and friendly. They have quite a great tasting Gluten-free Selection on the Menu aswell, especially their Waffles with Bananas and Syrup. Worth a Breakfast stop if you’re in town, you won’t be disappointed. Cheers Wheelchair accessibility: Yes the building has got two ramps. Dietary restrictions: Able to offer delicious Gluten-free food and alternative Dairy products.
Eggs Benedict with Salmon together with Omelette were a perfect combination for us. The side salad could make use of a dressing though. Altogeher it was a lovely meal and good service. Will definitely come back soon.
Best cafe in Whangarei hands down. Coffee is consistently great, their cakes are just delicious their gluten free carrot cake melts in your mouth!. Moreover, whenever you need your coffee fix, they’re ALWAYS there. Christmas day? open. New Year’s? open. But what blew my mind is in the middle of the latest storm/cyclone when everything was shut down, they were open so people suffering power cuts could come and enjoy some warmth and coffee just amazing
The diligent and friendly staff work well together, providing service in a timely manner. The atmosphere is, "local". From the elderly gentleman who stood to open the door for another patron, to the ebb and flow of people from all walks within the community, you can see its a place to enjoy coffee and home made pastries. A small but flexible menu at reasonable prices. I recommend. Kid-friendliness: I remember my locals when I was a young mum. It's often frequented by mums and families alike. Parking: The Cafe is on a corner, so if there's nothing on the main drag, there's the side street. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps. Good space between tables. Great options in seating. Clean toilets.
Outstanding food, great coffee! The muesli with generous amounts of yoghurt and berry compote was delicious, but the French toast with fresh fruit, berry compote, whipped cream, perfectly cooked bacon and maple syrup was just amazing!Food: 5/5
I had salmon eggs benedict and my partner had the big breakfast which we both enjoyed. First cafe that I could get avocado and salmon without having to pay extra but hollandaise wasn't the best but still ok. Huge portions made it that much more enjoyable. Cafe is a little outdated and hot chocolate a little milky although bowl was very large. Staff are friendly. Good pricing here.
This place has potential, if they invested some money into the decor and really went all in on the Narnia theme,This would be an attraction all on its own. The food is good for the price, the portions are more than generous. Having a cafe that isn’t in a metro type setting is a bonus. The owners are so hardworking and they should be proud of what they offer to the community.
Did coffee here only + disappointedly bland Altura not recommended. Also dearest encountered locally. Service was quick for busy Saturday morning. Ambience with poor lighting not help as also difficulty with parking. Yellow lines everywhere with meagre few spots a walk up the road away. Seats comfortable + wifi available.Service: 3/5
Ordered a large wedges with advertised with cheese and sour cream. Was $14, not that large and barely a sprinkling of cheese is a generous description. Rip off. Coffee was good but expensiveFood: 2/5
It was a week ago that we went, the weather was rather wet that day but the service inside was top notch. The food was great and the coffee was one of the better ones I've had.Food: 5/5
