The Mill Bakehouse

Excellent pies, especially the steak cheese and jalapeño. Absolutely delicious! This bakery is well above average across the board, with very friendly staff to top it all off.

Only get the Steak Cheese & Jalapeño pie. Always good and not to spicy.

Nice bus stop for a quick meal prevoius going to do a Hike. I took a chicken avocado sandwich and a spectacular NZ donut, are long and not round!

Visit again with great disappointment!!!!! I had mushroom quiche.....shocker! Must be at least 3- 4 days old...possible more mostly unpleasant crust..on top 2-3 millmeters of 'filling' made out of 3 pcs of very dry, chewe mushrooms, stick of spinach and v.pale egg... I hope it was an egg....plse never buy this one... ..

After a jaunt to Piha beach it was nice to stop in at the Mill Bakehouse for a L&P & a Mince n Cheese. Fast & pleasant service. Pie was awesome!! Hung out in the parking lot with the free range chickens right across from the fried chicken place..... & shared a wee bit of my pie with them & the Sparrows they were very well mannered.

Steak Cheese & Jalapeño pie was so goooood definitely grab that one! And the smoke fish pie was solid too

Yummy, fresh, warm meat pies! Try the steak and cheese.

Best bakery in NZ, not even a competition. Butter chicken pie is a banger

Awesome pies from here. Read that they have few of the best pies in Auckland. Awesome service with ladies working there very friendly and told us about their journey of them and the bakery. If you're ever going out to the beaches out west must stop here and get some pies

The jalapeño, steak and cheese pie was probably the best pie I’ve ever had in New Zealand! Ok maybe tied with the Furleigh Bakehouse Pies on the South Island. Perfect pastry texture and flavour combination. As amazing as the pie was... even better customer service from the owners directly which also makes me want to come back and spread the word. The pie was truly excellent too; I’m coming back for lunch soon!
