Muzza's Pies

Some of the best pies in auckland. A step above the typical bakels copy and paste jelly pie recipes you find at most bakeries around auckland. Highly recommend the steak and cheese and the mince chilli sour cream. Just a note, muzzas pie warmer is set to nuclear so allow to sit for 10 minutes before you smash it back.

Not really a viable lunch option for vegetarians. I've been a couple of times now as I've heard good things, but haven't been able to get a vegetarian pie so probably won't bother going back. The apple pie is nice though.

Auckland's best pie place and has been for probably 30 years. Friendly staff, great prices. Even open Sat until 3pm. What more could you want from a pie shop - easy 5 stars.

3 words...Smoked Fish Pie. My first time trying both Muzza's and a smoked fish pie. With no clue what to expect, went by the recommendations. It's got a good not so overpowering fish flavor with a light creamy sauce. Not too runny, just the way I like it and flakey. If you like heat in your food, goes great with some Sriracha. Highly recommend, you won't regret. I also picked up their Chicken Apricot pie, worth a try. It was good, not too sweet at all...maybe not for my taste preferences. The lady at the counter was nice and friendly. Small local shop, totally worth visiting for your pie fix. Can't believe it took me so long to try Muzza's. Wonder which pie I would order when I'm there next...

Pie was hotter than the centre of the sun. Muzzas pies are the kind that run everywhere after you take a bite. Prepare yourself with numerous napkins. Lots of filling and pastry is probably the worst aspect. There are better pie bakeries out there.

Just popped into Muzza's Pies to checkout what all the hoopla was about. And I wasn't disappointed !! My go to before taking the big step to a pie is a Sausage Roll. Delicious !! Next visit will be a Steak n Vege pie !!

The absolute BEST pies in Auckland, melt in your mouth pastry with the most decent substantial fillings that you can tell have been made with quality ingredients and made with love!!! So good that I keep forgetting to take photos and only once demolished that I remember "I should have got a photo"

1st class pies and delightful people. Highly recommended and worth a detour if you are not a local. Get there before 1300 or you may find the pies all snapped up!
