The Kvas Company is New Zealand's first kvas brewer. Kvas is a traditional Russian drink brewed from rye bread flavoured with coriander seed and sultanas using a lactic fermentation process.
Our Brod Traditional Kvas line is made up of Russian homestyle kvas with traditional flavourings such as lemon and berries.
Our Brod Original Kvas line is something different, unique combinations of kvas and other flavours - teas, cacao, spices, and seasonal fruits - that you won't find anywhere else in the world.
We bake the bread, use only natural ingredients, organic and local where possible, to lovingly make the very best product we can.
