The Hardware Cafe

I am not big fan of Cafes but this is by far the best cafe I have ever bin. Awesome hot chocolate, nice place to sit. And most importantly a lot of options for vegetarians....

Not sure what happened but my experience here not great. The eggs meant to be over easy were not and mushrooms were overcooked and rubbery while the rosti was as a crispy outer while the inside was mushy. Overall the food was underwhelming and even the coffees were warm and not hot. Sorry The HC.

Yummy pizza, garlic bread and calamari...awesome service and great coffee....crew was nice and friendly especially the Chef Jordane...

Lovely little spot to stop for breakfast. Fresh food, great service, lovely coffee and buzzy atmosphere. They have ready-to-take items to picnic with and some lovely wines and beers on offer. We sat outside and had a lovely time. The staff are very attentive, warm yet professional.

We had a lovely lunch. The food was good and hot! Service was excellent and a nice vibe in the place. The decor is average but the standard of food matters more. We managed to get a parking spot in the carpark next door if only Titirangi wasn't such a parking challenge we'd go there more often.

Really lovely people and normally good coffee in the morning but have been several times during the day when it is busy and they consistently get the coffee order wrong. Sorry guys but it shouldn’t be that hard. There’s only two of us ordering at a time!

An awesome cuppa, friendly staff and a vibrant little village setting made this place an excellent quick stop off on our travels.
