The Activist

Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in Auckland. Unlike the date I met here, the coffee never leaves a bitter taste and is genuinely good! I love how the caramel syrup actually mixes well, and so far my favorite blend is the rapture. Perfection.nnThe employees are always friendly too and the book selection is so varied.

This is my morning go to place before I start work.nVery lovely coffee, friendly staff!nIt’s what start my day. Thanks guys and gals.nCame here on a Saturday went to the back for a chill, started reading a book, before I knew it, been there for two hours.nLike the idea of the bookshelf and random books, entertaining.nVery quirky.

Awesome local cafē. Very popular with locals and great coffee. Quirky and cute atmosphere inside and also nice to sit outside and watch the world go by… if you time it right and manage to score a seat. Small but very nice selection of cabinet food too. Hidden gem in the burbs.

The coffee aroma was wonderful as I walked in and my coffee expectations were set, only to receive what was basically a cup of warm , frothy oat milk with a hint of coffee if you concentrated! My friend had ordered a single shot in her flat white but I made sure mine was a double. I asked if mine was a single, he said no. I said it doesn’t even taste like coffee and he walked away.nnNever gong back there again… well not for coffee… but I doubt I will be able to resist returning to buy an almond croissant as it was the best I have ever had!

Good flavour coffee, great local hang out. Espresso grind of take home bag is way too fine tho.
