Summer Bakery - New Lynn

Great custimer service for a very early morning visit. They'll set you up for a good day. Sandwiches were fresh and delicious, too. Just the egg sandwich needed a tad of salt, but other than that, great.

Summer Bakery has a wide selection of delicious sandwiches, pies & cakes overall. Everythings extremely tasty here. It's under new management. Friendly owners. New set up & looks extremely clean, spacious & awesome. Only 2 downfalls, It's quite "exorbitant" & closes quite early at 4pm. Otherwise extremely great, overall. I highly recommend Summer Bakery.

Bought one of their 'blueberry' muffins and when I cut into it immediately knew it was off. Had a sour smell like old socks and just to be sure I tasted it. Bad idea.

Just had the worst lunch ever from Summer Bakery in Margan Ave. 2 chicken kebabs - stale, dried out, hard and lukewarm - so a big health risk and a box of 'hot' chips which were old, dried out and lukewarm - another health risk. Suspect these items were cooked yesterday or very early this morning and left to sit in cabinet at a tepid temperature all day. Had to throw them all out - wasted $14.10 - which was overcharged/over-priced compared to other local bakeries. I recommend people avoid this shop at all costs if you value your health and don't enjoy being ripped off.

The pies are at $5.50 each currently.Thats disgusting. Just because you slammed an "award winning pie of the year 2019" in front of it you thought you could rip your customers off. I get better pies else where at the price of $4.40 each. It just shows this place doesnt care about customer needs, only their needs. The chips i bought here also taste like they been sitting for a while.

Nice bakery with a variety and good selection of rolls,sandwiches,cakes,slices,hot pies and fried chicken Only got a sausage roll, was good size for $2. Soft fresh and tasty Shame tongs were dirty with crumbs ,think they should wash on regular bases or have 2 on hand Service was ok

Great pies though on the expensive side. The new setup is nice and the service was friendly

Yes the pies are not bad, but forget about getting coffee here. I asked for a large flat white. What I got was a cup more than half full of froth. The coffee beans have a weird taste. This is the second cup I've got from these clowns. Both times the same. First time I thought they were just having a bad day. So I gave them another try. Sorry never again wasting my money here. I think their coffee would kill plants faster than roundup!

Nice food and set up but 25% more expensive than similar bakeries in the area.

Went in this morning for a quiche and sausage roll. The guys service was good. The quiche I ordered tasted great and fresh. I would recommend them.
