Hare and the Turtle.

We loved H&T. It is located on street corner, with sunny tables. This place is a perfect winter cafe, toasty and warm. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We stayed until closing and were offered a free cinnamon bun or doughnut because they're baked fresh every day.nI highly recommend this cafe. Absolutely wonderful!

I can see why they’re so busy from the moment they open!nThe entire menu must be fantastic.nI tried two different items, the Mad Dog and the Daisy, and both were amazing. I added their special sauce to the Daisy for an extra $2, and it was absolutely worth it—so delicious! Although I had only grabbed takeaway coffees here before, I regret not trying the food sooner. Highly recommended!

Don't want to stir the hive, but personal opinion, all the raving about the baloney sando is just that, baloney!? nHad it on my want to go list since they got rave reviews in Metro, but talk about a let down.nAll I can say is the look of the $16 sandwich speaks for itself? The taste wasn't that much more to write home about.nSurely Auckland has better value for money sandwiches to rave about?

Holy WOW. We were just looking for a quick breakfast in the area and this place blew our minds. We both got breakfast sandwiches, a hash brown, cinnamon roll & some coffee and it was so delectable, unique and well-made with house ingredients!nn5 - B&E sandwich - the chutney in this was SUCH a nice touch, so tasty along with the house bun!n5 - Geezer sandwich - the house bun makes this so perfect but the piccadelli sauce was also *chefs kiss*nnWe added this to our food list which is a big deal! so we will be back if in Auckland in the future!
