Rosebank - coffee & kitchen

A good little local for a decent meal if you are based in Avondale. Have a had a few of the menu items and they are good quality, cannot complain. The coffee is consistently good and the staff are super friendly. Make sure you double check your parking as you might be in the parks dedicated to the adjacent businesses, but I have never not got a park this being said.

To be fair, the kitchen food are good here, but not the service. We visited here for lunch on Sat and it wasn't busy. Many tables were available but they cannot arrange a table for 9 people. No friendly service here if you want to grab and go. This cafe was good before but not anymore. We can pay the same amount of money to buy better service, food and atmosphere in New Lynn or Mt Albert area.

Food was excellent!! Staff were very attentive and friendly.nGreat to finally go to a Cafe with a decent size table, so many cafes have tables that can barely hold your coffee cup.nWill be back to try the omelet next time.

The atmosphere is really cosy and nice. The staff is super friendly.nThey brought the food faster than I thought and taste really good but it need more seasoning and quantity of sauce for example; cauliflower puree on the drunk mushrooms was so little that it's imposible to taste as the same as the dukkah season was invisible after that I will be back for a beautiful hot chocolate and eggs Benedict :.

Located on the corner of Rosebank and Jomac Road, the carpark entrance is on Jomac Road.nStopped by for lunch and was fortunate to get a table without booking since it was fairly full. We were warmly greeted at the door and escorted to our table. After a short wait we received menus. Didn't have to wait too long to get our food and drinks ordered. Apart from the menu, they also had food cabinets with goodies like donuts, tarts and truffles.nThe hot chocolate was nice. The food was even nicer. I had ordered the lamb special and it was quite special. It looked and smelt quite impressive and the taste was really good. Adding the different components on the plate gave different flavours and textures. The lamb was well season and cooked nicely. We even got some dessert to eat later in the afternoon and it was delicious.nWhat got me was how well the place was run. Even though it was full, things didn't stand for too long and everything was running quite smoothly. It was easy to just sit back and enjoy the food.
