Oysters are amazing! We came mid week, sat outside on the deck and were very impressed with the food and wine selection and the stunning view as the sun set.. We shared natural oysters, the tuna cerviche and steak tartare. Oysters were shucked fresh, were plump and slightly briney… just perfect . The tartare was also very good my only comment would be that adding an egg yolk would take it next level.nStaff very helpful and friendly.nWe will be back here again!

Best meal of my trip so far, shoot, best meal of the year! The mussels are perfection, truly some of the best I've ever had. Seafood chowder was very tasty and hearty, more thin broth than thick and creamy FYI. Pair d with a lovely Marlborough sav blanc The chefs looked like a vibe, no wonder they're cranking out hot fire! Maitre D was also lovely. Beautiful views! Can't recommend more

Reservation is a MUST for this restaurant, especially if you want a table that can witness the sunset while enjoying the beautiful food. I was fortunate enough to get a table because I was alone and willing to sit next to the entrance. I still enjoyed the perfectly cooked medium rare steak and deconstructed cheese cake. The service is very good and friendly staff made my time there even better.

The views and sunset were amazing, the service personalised and friendly and the food extraordinary! Fresh oysters, perfectly cooked scallops and crispy skin with soft creamy centred snapper. Excellent wine list to complement, and best negroni cocktail in Nelson ! Thank you for a magical evening!

I visited here for lunch during my short stay in Nelson and was glad I did. It was a stellar day for a walk from downtown Nelson and perfect water views.nnI had a smallish lunch of their fresh ceviche then finished off with an affogato, for a lighter dessert. I appreciated their willingness to make it for me. ;-nnPlus, the staff are friendly and attentive, you can't go wrong here for a meal IMO.
