Very VERY good wholesome food packed with great balanced flavor and generous portions too. One of the best meals we’ve had and we eat out a lot for a long time. It’s a great feeling after you done out when you walk away fully satisfied, sated and very happy to pay the bill for a lovely meal. Recommended the famous steak at the top of the menu …. Not changed for many a year and we can understand why

We ordered pork belly which was not good it was dry and uneatable found out cook had been deep frying it??? the fish and chips were nice but on the small size. Felt like maybe struggling with staffing wouldn't go back. Ps our starters came out on chopping boards which are in need of replacing also water glasses seen better days.

Visited after a year and alot has changed. The portion size has reduced and the price has increased significantly. We had to wait so long for the person to come and take our order and I had to go remind that we were ready. After that food also took so long to arrive. Didn't feel it was worth the money.

We have been to this restaurant a few times over the last few years. Compared to the first time we went, it has taken a bit of a dive. The service was fast and pleasant. The table was sticky as... even after waitress wiped it. The Salt & Pepper Squid, originally was to die for and reasonably priced... now you get a mouthful for $19, and it has not got any taste to it. Mains Ordered: 2 Ultimate Surf and Turfs med, one came out well-done maybe due to it being thin. The Fisherman's Choice, battered fish very oily. The Pork Belly, looked big due to the huge amount of mashed potato. The meals in general looked great, other then the oiliness of the batter on the fish. There was no real great taste to the meals; the sauces did not stand out; and the salads which I am all for!!, were covered in something but not sure what - as no taste. A huge disappointment.

After my experience today, this is a do not recommend for me. The service was terrible. The service was slow, and when someone in my party asked about the food I saw the server roll their eyes as they walked away. My food was cold and bland when it came out. It was not busy. Not a great place. I'd go elsewhere for the price.
