The Boathouse Society

Called in with Matty on our trip. A hidden gem, an amazing sundeck with views that warrant being in magazine. The staff were warm and friendly and just seemed to treat everyone as regulars, maybe they are! We had fish and chips, Greek salad and tortillas off the menu. Everything was excellent, tasty, well presented and excellent value. A good range of local beer on tap. Check opening hours, maybe lunch is the best option.

We have captured many beautiful weddings at the Boathouse in Nelson! The views looking out over the water are stunning, and you can often catch a beautiful sunset from the deck. The inside is quite spacious, white walls, wooden floors and a little bit of character makes this venue such a charmer and we have found the Boathouse staff so always be so helpful and friendly. We cannot wait to capture another wedding at The Boathouse again very soon.
