The Workshop Nelson

Enjoyed a beautiful craft beer called "Purple Haze" - just lovely. Our meal was delicious! Don't go past the Garlic, cheese flat bread! Would highly recommend a visit for a chilled, craft beer & good food!

Cosy and chill place with a good tap line and helpful and friendly staff. Reminds me of US west coast breweries/brew pubs. Occasional live music and the rumour has it that the pizza and burgers are great. Makes their own craft beer and has guest taps.

Just discovered The Workshop last week and wandered in with friends for a drink. Terrific selection of beers. What started as a quiet drink ended with staying for pizza. Nice food and drinks in chic industrial setting. We will be back.

It was fabulous, a great way to spend time with my daughter and friends, a bit of a laugh and found my artistic prowess...

You know in Cheers where sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name? The nicest people own and work at the Workshop. I'm sure there are other good bars in town but I don't intend to find out. I like this one.

This is an extremely popular place with the locals. Nice blazing fire, great beer and tasty food. The owners are lovely people as are all the staff. Worth a visit to kick back and unwind.
