Urban Oyster Bar & Eatery

Had an amazing lunch here today. Friendly service, great tasting food, little bit pricey but I thought it was well worth it. Good presentation top notch, awesome selection of great tasting food, between 5 of us I think we tried almost everything on the menu. Would highly recommend and definitely go back again.

The 2 guys that was on the floor the night we went out to dine was funny and quite friendly. Felt very welcomed. The chefs in the kitchen took pride in their dishes they were presenting. Great atmosphere. Only thing I didn't like was going outside to use the toilets, especially when it was a cold night other than that, the 2 guys serving us made the night very entertaining.

Delicious food! We tried the chef menu option and it was great! We got to try so many different dishes.

Such a great Oyster treat on a sunny afternoon in Nelson.nWe had one of each of the oysters and they were fresh and well prepared nComplimented by a glass of local white wine from Nelson’s Neudorf winerynnWe couldn’t help our selves, so we also treated our selves with a couple of Sliders and the Pork, complimented by a Wellington draft Pilsner again would no less thann have been appropriate

This is a nice, hip spot to grab some delightful tapas. We started with the tempura oysters which was delicious. Next, they brought out the roasted kumara followed by the sliders which were chicken thighs for us. Finally, the snapper which was one of their specials today. The Passionfruit Margarita was excellent and the Woodford Reserve Bourbon tasted like it always does.
