I thought the knuckles were great. I love the crispness of the cracking. The chicken schnitzel with prawns was equally nice. Large portions and juicy jumbo prawns. Good price, good food and good beer. What more does one need?
Great place, would 100% come again. Really cozy vibes is perfect in winter. Good price too, about $50-60 a person with a drink or two each. Portions are quite big which is a plus, lots of options not so much if you’re vegan or vegetarian.
Very nice proportion and for service the beer is proper 500ml pints and recommended. We ordered the Bavarian Schmanckerl and Crispy pork knuckle these I recommend. The fish was nice too but was similar to any other fish so not really a traditional experience.
The Bavarian could easily be a 5 star restaurant if it had quality control on the meals, 3 good meals out of 4 is not good, and although we were shown to a table suitable for 2 when there was 4 of us, and the 40 minute wait for drinks, 60 for the mains, I was pleasantly surprised with the German beers...wow...3 meals were fantastic, the attentive young lady serving us needs commendation and a pay rise... the maitre d needs to up his quality control on service timing, food quality. I'll be back to sample more of the menu, maybe a sauerkraut dish? Loved the menu...and beer selection...
Meat lovers dream. Safer to book. Under $300 for 6 adults taking into consideration the large portions. Chicken Parma was humongous. Staff were quick on service. Also courteous and helpful. Meals came out at an acceptable time frame. FYI Wednesday all you can eat night @ $35 pp. Our party were completely satisfied. Cheers Bav
Fish and Chips was not too salty nor too bland but perfect. The crispy noodle salad dressing was also very nice. The lemon lime butter glass was humongous and we loved it. I will definitely visit again with my friends next time.
The FOH were of great service and the food was delicious. They were very hospitable and accommodating to our needs and requests especially when we bought in our birthday cake for lunch. Definitely recommend and would love to dine again. Great value and money well spent.
Nice portions, nice ambience. Fried chicken was sub-par, not worth the $55. Strawberry cocktail was too salty. Cracking pork had nice portions, basic flavour. The platter kind of disappointing as difficult to share, not much creativity.
Excellent German restaurant with very big portions. We ordered a set for two people. Obviously it’s for two men, not two ladies. Overall, we enjoyed our meat, they were really tasty.
Phoned in for a table reservation Greeted with a smile when arrived. shown the menu's and nicely explained what some of the meals contained and looked like as I wasn't to familiar with the food. I ordered the biergarten platter to share unless you love prawns this platter I felt overpriced $90.00 small portion amounts and size. Munich platter was a bit more worth the value $88.00 Also my table ordered the famous crispy pork knuckle whole $38.00 now that was delicious. They have in house music playing You can buy select songs to be played like a juke box but digital that was cool. The service was great the atmosphere was good.There was also seating out doors . It was a good German meal experience
