Great brewpub in a charming historic building on cool Vulcan Lane, situated between the ferry terminal and the Auckland Art Gallery. There is an excellent selection of beers on tap, as well as ones in bottles. We ordered a fried chicken sandwich delicious! that came with thick cut fries also delicious!. Barkeeps were very friendly and service was excellent. Highly recommended.
One of my favorite spots for the rare pint. Friendly staff and a good mix of regulars and new interesting people to meet. This place has always had a solid pub menu as well. Probably the best bar of it's kind in central Auckland.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff members and had a great time with extensive array of beers on tap available. Would recommend for a drink or two
Delicious craft beer bar. We stopped by and enjoyed the delicious steak fries and a beer sampler.
Stopped by for one of the fresh hop beers event in Auckland. We came here since they were one of the few bars that were participating. It is located between Queen and High Street on Vulcan lane. Friendly service and they do have small bites and burgers available. The buttermilk fried chicken was nuggets of chicken served with BBQ sauce. Fairly small pub with seating both inside and out.

Randomly stopped here for a few pints while exploring Auckland; friendly bartenders, great selection of awesome beers, decent prices, staff was constantly picking up glasses and keeping tables clear, and the food ain’t bad for a pub. We ended up coming back a couple more times, especially for the red ipa they had on tap. Place gets quite busy after work hours, good loud bustling vibe. Recommended.
Vulcan Lane, The iconic place to be for quick lunch or a cigarette under the tree. You can find burger restaurant, Japanese restaurant in a few pubs here. There are seven public benches What are you to sit down and relax. One thing I notice is that the building has the classic look and design from the early 1930’s - Greek triangles and Roman columns architectural design style.
Very nice bar in downtown Auckland. Nice staff, great selection of craft beers. Snacks and food in general is very taste. Great place to rest and stay a little while.
