Great food, caring host. Although it was a new setup for brunch, and a Easter weekend, not lot of staff, but they managed with great energy and passion. Although the chhole were bit over salted, I will still give them another visit.

My search for the best chole bhature in Auckland finally ended here. Liked the keema pav and absolutely loved the goat curry. The only downside is that these dishes are only available Saturday mornings.

Best chole bhature, plain lassi and masala chai in Auckland. Chole were Delhi style, reminds you of street corner dhaba yet the decor, especially outdoors takes you to by lanes of Rajasthan. Very welcoming hosts, who would not tire keeping you entertained. What else can you ask for

I went on a Tuesday evening in a group of 5, and we all found it to be an excellent experience. The service was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious, compliments to the chef. The food was expertly prepared and was perfectly balanced, unlike the rather sweet tasting curries you get at many other curry houses. I would definitely recommend and hope to return sometime soon.

Watch out for this restaurant as they can be sneaky. They knowingly charged me $12 for a glass of beer while the menu said $8. When I questioned the guy at the counter and asked for a refund of the difference which he unwillingly gave he defended himself saying that the menu is 5 years old and every customer understands the price increase due to the inflation. I would have been totally fine if the menu was updated but it is not honest and ethical use inflation as an excuse to charge more than what was presented to the customers in the menu. If you still decide to go to this restaurant definitely check the price in the menu before you pay.

I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to dine at Delight Spice Indian Restaurant, and I must say, it was a truly disappointing experience. From start to finish, every aspect of this restaurant left a lot to be desired. Let's start with the food. It was tasteless and lacked any authentic flavors that one would expect from an Indian restaurant. The dishes seemed like they were prepared with little care or attention to detail. The spices were bland, the curries lacked depth, and the overall quality of the ingredients was subpar. It felt as if I was eating a poor imitation of Indian cuisine rather than the real thing. The service at Delight Spice was equally dreadful. The waitstaff seemed disinterested and unattentive. It took an incredibly long time for our orders to be taken, and even longer for the food to arrive at our table. There was a complete lack of efficiency and professionalism among the staff, which added to the frustration of the overall experience. To make matters worse, the customer service was absolutely abysmal. When we expressed our dissatisfaction with the food and service, the staff seemed dismissive and unapologetic. They showed no willingness to address our concerns or make any effort to rectify the situation. It was evident that they did not value their customers' opinions or take any responsibility for their shortcomings. Overall, I strongly advise against visiting Delight Spice Indian Restaurant. The tasteless food, abysmal service, and lackluster customer service make it one of the worst Indian restaurants I have ever had the misfortune of dining at. Save your time and money and seek out a more authentic and enjoyable dining experience elsewhere.

There is no consistency in there food. Me and my wife had chole bhature and sweet Lassi last to last weekend. Food was very good that time. So this time I went there with my parents and kids and spend over $90. We order chole bhature, bedami poori with aloo sabji, fries, sweet and masala Lassi. Bhature was very very oily and chole was very basic not even texture was dark what we have eaten before. Lassi was thin watery not thick what we have weekend before. We didn't drink Lassi and left it there and tell the guy who normally serves customer that Lassi was very thin like water. He listen and start doing his cleaning and left. Didn't said any thing at all. You will get good food sometimes if you are lucky, have tried many time but every time there is a different taste. So consistency with there food is a big issue. Will not recommend and visit there again. And on the top of that when ever I went there and dine in we have to ask for tissues paper on table.

Honesty the best goat curry I have ever had! No exaggeration, been to multiple countries and this is exactly like back in India. Recommend it to anyone and everyone
