Whoever was working the night of 9th of April needed to have Easter off they sounded like they were in a bad mood on the phone when taking my order and were moody when I picked it up. The food is alright but not for the price. You're better off driving 10 mins to Sandringham Rd and getting Indian from there you'll get nearly twice as much for what you pay here. Maybe the staff are happier when they're not working a long weekend but I'm not coming back to find out.
I agree with a recent reviewer, I think the place has changed hands. Nameste has been our favourite over the years, but popping in for lunch today for a sit down meal, instead of the nicely presented food we've come to expect, there was the plastic cartons and plastic cutlery of a cheap food truck. Makes you wonder where else they've cut back?
My god this place is good. The chili cheese garlic naan is criminal, but it's criminally delicious! Big fan of everything I've had so far many vege curries!! Edit: I had to come back and add more to the review, this place is just so good. I’ve settled on paneer do pyaza as my favourite meal, just wow it’s delicious. I’m walking home tucking into my allo parantha and holy it’s gotta be a 9.5/10. I love this place!
Always order here love it great tasting food. Cheese naan is full of cheese, the manchurian chicken is soo tasty. Samosas have so much flavour. Highly recommend.
Great naans, tasty butter chicken quite sweet, super friendly staff. Keema naan was okay. $15.50 for a BC puts it a bit pricier than other places but you get a free naan on Wednesdays. Note: Toilet is located outside, and you have to go through the kitchen.
Great curries and really nice staff! The paneers are delicious and great selection. This was me and my partners local when we lived in Greenlane. Sadly have moved West and miss it dearly
This place is the best Indian Food I have ever tasted in my 34 years of living. Over the past year we have been ordering from them, they have given me the confidence to branch out and try different things - all which have been amazing. They not only truly listen when I ask for real kiwi white girl! mild in heat but they also very kindly deliver for free even though we are on the brink of their delivery restriction area.
For uni students who are looking for a good meal with a budget, this one is for you! I went to this place today and for just $13.99 Lunch Special you can get a Butter Chicken, Naan Bread, Rice + a Drink! What a STEAL! The creaminess of the butter chicken was so smooth and was just full of flavour. The naan bread was also cooked properly. The interior of the place is a bit run down but for the quality of the food and the price, it is worth it. The person who served me was really nice as well.
Some of the best Indian I have had in a long time. Curry sauce was nice and thick with a very generous portion of meat. Flavour was really good! Naan bread was fluffy and thick and tasted great. Will definitely be back.
Amazing value, delightful food, superb quality. I decided to order food from this restaurant. I'm very impressed with it. As a person who is very sensitive to the quality and picky about the taste, I can say that this restaurant is one of the best Indian takeaways that I've ever tried, we ordered butter chicken and palak paneer, obviously all of the ingredients were so fresh. If you use their app you get discounts and free delivery as well. Very satisfied and recommend to everyone.
