Raviz Indian Cuisine

Came here from Melbourne looking for some easy take away while on our honeymoon. Melbourne is known for excellent Indian food and this was on par with that quality. We got the chicken Mango curry and butter chicken curry. Amazing quality and the rice was smooth and not sticky. We also got garlic nann bread which was very large and also delicious! I saw the chief use great hand hygiene and the wait for us was no longer than 10 minutes despite being somewhat busy inside for a Sunday night/long weekend. I dont understand the other lower reviews, take my advice and give this place a try 10/10

Being here several times as just down my apartment. Normal the food quality is very standard Indian food. Always order medium spicy but today I feel seafood today with different type of curry so order prawn swaggallamay not correctly it’s a spinach curry base which I ordered before somewhere else at foodcourt but I have to say tonight the meal is disappointing. Firstly prawn isn’t fresh n more like shrimp. Secondly no flavor. I mean Indian food is supposed to be all the flavors but I have to say the curry tonight tasted like failed n zero flavor but just colored curry. Even the cracker they come with as free entree tasted strong flavor than the curry. All in all the meal is a disaster for what it’s n don’t mentioned the over price. When a restaurant taste worse than food court. What is point to pay high premium price. Highly recommend if u want good n standard n cheap Indian food. Just go to food court as sometimes restaurant could be worse than that. This is the case. One star is for the air con as summer is so hot. Otherwise I will give zero star. Lol

Would not recommend this place for a hygenic and tasty food. We got uncooked Naan. Shahi paneer was not fresh at all and was tasteless. Moreover, we ordered indian kuchumbar salad which was served to us nearly at the time when we had finished our food. I told manager about these issues and she was not at all ready to accept it. Got at your own risk… I wish I could give them below 1 star. So disappointed..

Delicioso is how I describe the Lamb Madras meal I just had. Friendly staff a great lunch time special a meal with an option of house ale or juice I opted for the juice. And clean premises with Indian statuettes and artwork adding to the ambience of the premises. I wouldn't hesitate coming here to eat when I'm in the city in the future.

The shop owners should actually try out their own foods, it doesn't tastes Indian food at all, definitely a LOT of room for improvement: -Lamb Briyani tastes very bland, too salty and doesn't tastes any spices at all, asked for extra spicy but doesn't taste any spiciness, meat is dry too; -Cheese Naan wasn't even cooked at the center; -Chicken Tandoori but it's not even roasted in tandoor but actually served in sizzling plate really?; -Mango Lassi tastes terrible too, there's some weird after tastes. I'd been eating Indian foods my entire life, and this is one of the worst I had, hope that they will improve in future.

Ordered last night and got this. Chilli chicken was not the same what we used to have before, so salty and only white pepper flavour. Standard of the food is dropped.Food: 2/5

We had butter prawn 9/10 , malai kofta 8/10 , cheese garlic naan , kheema naan , alu paratha, mango lassi , gulab jamun and not forgetting mango ice cream WHAT A CHEAT MEAL DAY , definitely a place to visit if your in auckland . The staff was very helpful by picking our food and I appreciate the service. Thank you and hope to see you soon . Me and my friends decided to eat some good indian desi food. So we ordered from raviz. I don't know why sometimes their curry dishes are sooo tasty but sometimes their curry dishes are like watery and taste less and filled with color. Don't know why it happens like that. We have tried butter chicken, Goat biryani, naan and Chicken tikka, Beef vindaloo, half Chicken Tikka and half chicken malai kebab. Gravy dishes quantity should be increased. Staff was very friendly and helpful. But dine-in is bit expensive.Yes they serve halal ALWAYS confirm before placing the order Please DM or call them for any further enquiries. Thank you

One of the best biryanis I ever had, 10/10 . Butter chicken was also too good, ty guys you made out foody day , keep it up
