This was a new clinic for me in a new town. I could not have asked for a better experience, from the smiling receptionists, to the fabulous nurse & then the amazing Doctor. They could not have been kinder or more thorough. The clinic rooms were super clean, light, spacious & had a feeling of gentle reassurance. I just felt safe & in good hands.
I agree with all the 1 star reviews, it became a money making machine, with no consideration of patient well-being at all. 1;During the 3.5 years using them we couldn't see the same doctor or nurse more than once, it was always a new one, so when we're asked who our GP is, we really dont know, we just say this clinic... 2;We never had any big issues, however I need to see and pay them regularly just to be able to get my long-term medication. with my specialist I meet yearly anyway and I also do lab test for them quarterly so these GP visits are completely useless At these appointments I don't get any useful information about my condition or alternative medication options, I get questions that could have been asked online or get the info from my specialist who goes into detail more anyway. This is a complete waste of both my and the GP's time. I dont understand why they don't communicate with my specialist, who actually knows me, knows my case. It's like my specialist is my real GP while Tend just grabs the bureaucratic appointment money for no service whatsoever. 3; the one time I really actually needed them was recently when my son was bitten by a dog, not severely enough to rush to the ER, but just to see a GP. Then for THAT they didn't have availability for a whole week... Not surprising as they are fully booked with these pointless long-term prescription appointments... Had we have anything else closer to home and had we not need a GP for my long-term prescription, I'd avoid this practice and definitely not recommend it to anyone. No wonder doctor's don't last here either...
I previously had positive experiences with this practice. However, since the transition to Tend, I’ve found the approach has changed significantly. It now feels as though there is an increased focus on generating additional appointments and fees. Although my medication has been approved for long-term use, I am repeatedly required to book review appointments with a doctor solely to continue it. This has become frustrating and disappointing….
It's great for making payments and seeing Dr notes and messaging with questions etc. Only complaint is a technical one, not design layout. When I go to make an appointment and need to enter something into a text box, it wont put the cursor in the text box no matter how many times I touch it. Which then doesn't bring up my keyboard. Had to Bluetooth a keyboard to my phone to type. Haha that was awkward!
Today my partner called them to make an appointment, and not once but twice while waiting on the phone we went from first in queue to 4th and 6th. Utterly dumbfounded how a medical practice like this as such poor admin service and complete lack of respect for clients time.
