Might as well be run by robots. The doctors and the surgeons couldn't care less. Their motto is this is what we have done, now get out. The nurses from overseas Philippines etcare more caring and have empathy towards the patients. The other nurses is there to meet up for work, stay for whatever number of hours, then go home. I'm sure there are caring nurses and doctors out there. But not during my unfortunate visit and stay at the hospital.
Probably the worst hospital in NZ. Very low standard of care by all - especially those answering the phones, the lady I spoke to from the inquiries team was rude and unpleasant to deal with. The staff on the front desk were friendly and there was only ONE doctor that we saw that genuinely seemed to care for his patients, we were very lucky to have him. Would recommend avoiding this hospital if possible.
Admitted on Friday just passed and the staff are lovely.. I'm in awe at how they are so lovely and caring even in the deepest pressures.nThese other districts better catch up!!nnBig up TGA!!
Probably the worst hospital in nz I was admitted via ambulance as I was coughing up blood and pus I was struggling to breathe. The nurses had absolutely no respect or patience I had lost my voice coming plus I wear hearing aids so it makes it even more difficult. To communicate they just don’t care about anybody I have received better care in the Johannesburg general hospital than here that’s saying something we need a trauma unit or something the worst hospital ever
Recently been in ward 3C overnight, my surgeon Aggie Them was amazing every step of the way, so lucky to have her here in Tga Hospital. The nurses were all wonderful, had some 2nd year training nurses as well all great. The whole experience from diagnosis to operation has been great, felt very well looked after.nFeeling very lucky to have this service in a public hospital.nThank you
