Taylors Mistake Surf Life Saving Club

Nice small beach. Good waves for surfing. Nice beach and not very crowded when i visited. There are toilets if you want to go before you go to the beach. The road is tar all the way until you reach the carpark. It can be wheelchair accessible with care up to the lifesaver building. When it is low tide then you can walk next to the rocks on the left or you can follow the hiking trial on the right hand side at any tide, this will provide nice views of the ocean, just take enough water with you.

Even with a nasty easterly its a great place to be in the world. Surfs up, warm water for Canterbury, great life guards. You forget about these little gems when you've been away for so long.
