Just a beautiful place, though lots of dogs which I don't mind as I have one myself but wish they were on a led. There were a lot of fish around shag rock which is known for catching blue Moki on mussels and also the odd gurnard but mostly the usual suspects Kahawai and mullet.

Very nice view of the ocean from next to the rocks. Good vehicle access between surf life saving club buildings. Can grab fast food and enjoy next to the ocean. Fishermen like to fish from here. Boats also launch from the ramps, some tide information is available on the notice boards at the side of the buildings. There are small type of pebbles where the vehicles drive with some hard soil past the buildings. This can be wheelchair accessible but will not recommend due to soil and pebbles. When the wind start blowing then it will catch you when you are not in your vehicle. You can also see the surfers from this point. Will definitely return.

An amazing club and venue. Went to my sister-in-laws wedding on a Saturday that had a storm warning - still was amazing.

Sunmer Surf Livesafing is situated in an architecturally designed building with the function room down the bottom and the staff room at the top overlooking beautiful sandy beach. Suitable venue for beach weddings or semi-casual functions. Outdoor backyard with a sane dune separating the property and the public area. Suitable catering available.
