Had a great experience at Tay Street Beach Kitchen! The location is fantastic, with both indoor and outdoor seating options — perfect for enjoying the beach vibe regardless of the weather.nnWe ordered the Eggs Benedict, Sticky Chicken Salad, and the Smashed Avo — all beautifully presented and full of flavour. The standout, though, was definitely the crispy potato skins — super crunchy and delicious, though just a touch on the oily side.nnService was friendly and efficient, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

Stumbled on this place as we got a park directly outside.nFood was amazing. Honestly one of the best Caesar salads I’ve ever had.nWould highly recommend. Service excellent and food arrived quickly.

We stayed in Tauranga for 3 days and ended up visiting Tay Street Beach Kitchen all three days — that alone shows how much we enjoyed it!nnThe café is run by a wonderful and highly professional team of women who are very welcoming and efficientnnThe staff are consistently friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. The service is warm and efficient, and the team does a great job of managing the café smoothly even when it gets busy. The hospitality really adds to the overall experience.nnThe food is good with a wide menu offering plenty of variety, making it easy for everyone in the family to find something they like. We really appreciated the relaxed and enjoyable vibe each time we visited.nnThe café itself is in a newly built premises and has a fantastic beachfront location, which makes it a great place to sit back and enjoy the surroundings. Parking right in front is also very convenient, which is a big plus.nnA small suggestion would be around the washrooms — they are okay but could benefit from more frequent maintenance, especially during public holidays when footfall is high.nnOverall, a great spot with good food, excellent service, and an unbeatable location. We would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting again!

Overpriced. $29 for a chicken burger nothing to rave about that BurgerFuel does a better job of, at a better price. But service is great, friendly staff. Order took a while though. Don’t think I’ll eat here often. Nice beach vibes, that’s about it.
