Mixture Eatery

The place was quite busy, but overall, it was a normal experience. I liked the option to order and pay at the counter before the meal. We tried the eggs on toast with a side of ‘half’ and avocado. I was a bit disappointed with the small portion of avocado, especially given the extra $7 charge and advertised as “half an avocado”. However, we also ordered another eggs on toast with a side of halloumi, and I was happy by the portions of halloumi.

I don’t normally complain but this place was expected to have a better service. I booked a table for 8 people hoping they were prepared. The food was very slow. The last orders got their food first. We ended up having cold breakfasts waiting for the others to arrive. Don’t recommend this place anymore.

What a spot! Tried an array of dishes and wasn’t disappointed by any of them. The cabinet selection is huge but the food is actually fresh and tasty. I don’t usually like fish cakes but this one is a must try. The scroll was incredible and full of flavour. Chicken filo was alright nothing special compared to the others. The burger and drinks were a 5/5 as well - even the decaf coffee tasted good! The open atmosphere has a good vibe and majority of staff provide great service.

Excellent cabinet food and even menu items arrived promptly to the table.nWe went on New Year's Day and tables were not wiped and water not delivered to the table. Overall ok.

I took my card away from the machine to fast and it didn’t go through. I didn’t realise at first, and the staff member made me feel like a complete idiot. She not only snapped at me but as soon as the transaction had gone through proceeded to laugh with all of her colleagues about the interaction. I was completely humiliated.nMy food was slammed onto a dirty table which no one ever wiped down for me and it was average at best. Will not be back.
