Great for taking a stroll, relaxing, and family-friendly. The beach has a great playground, is even wheelchair accessible, and features lots of trees for shade. The toilets and changing rooms are clean, and there are lots of restaurants nearby.

It's a great location for something like this and free for everyone.nnThe surf club is located next door, and if the kids need more entertainment the playground is massive and at the beach.nnThose looking to enjoy the view over food and drink, there is plenty to choose from on The Strand.

Beautiful views and the cliff makes a great spot for taking photos.nCan use this area as the start for the Takapuna to Milford walk depending on the tides.nAlso has public toilets, rubbish bins and a world class all ages all abilities playground.nCheck water quality if going for a swim would be the only caution.
