Mount Eden Boardwalk

The boardwalk is well made but it spoils the sanctity and the natural look of the place. Looks very artificial. There are some things which need to be kept as natural as possible and Mt. Eden had that charm and views. Now it has become a mass tourism destination.

Amazing location with a 360 degree view of Auckland city. Can be reached by a short bus ride from CBD. Would recommend to get here by late afternoon to enjoy the sunset and then shimmering lights of the city and Sky tower.

Can have a panoramic view from here. Cool breeze and very beautiful in a fine summer day. Approximately 15 min walk up to the crater. Parking spaces are available. Free entry.

It was our first thing we saw from Auckland and it was beautiful, the city, the ocean. We've just liked the view It's only 10 minutes walk from the main street totally worth it. It's easy to walk through perfect program for families too, however there are stairs.

The view is very beautiful and you can see 360 degrees of Auckland city. It's worth walking up at least once.
