Mount Eden Boardwalk

Great views of Auckland from up there and a good cardio workout up and back down. The boardwalk is in good condition and quite easy to walk on once you get there.nnWould allow about an hour walk up around the boardwalk and then to come back down again.nnYou can either walk up a moderately steep road or take a walk up the stairs.

Easy walk for a 360 degree view of Auckland. There are a few wider platforms with seating to take in the view too.nnParking is limited, but there are a few extra spots behind the cafe.

The boardwalk is well made but it spoils the sanctity and the natural look of the place. Looks very artificial. There are some things which need to be kept as natural as possible and Mt. Eden had that charm and views. Now it has become a mass tourism destination.

The view from up top is stunning! It’s a great view back across Auckland.nnPathway itself is well constructed and safe.

Very cool 360 view of Auckland and its free aswell. Definitely recommend going here plus its a sacred site for the locals
