Stanmore Bay Beach

One of my favorite beaches close to my family home!! So beautiful especially on a clear, sunny day Alot of good memories here. A playful interactive park for kids & families, a skatepark & a good dairy/fish n chips shop across the road. Decent toliets & shower outside to rinse off after a swim.nnLots of shade near playground park & beautiful big trees along the beach when you go for a walk.

Stanmore Bay is one of those hidden gems hiding in plain sight. The beach is very long with ample of room to find a nice spot even on a very busy day.nThe boat ramp is wide with a turn circle right on top and with a decent length into the sea. But it can get sand covered and there's a drop at the end which depending on the year can be steep, making retrieval of larger boats impossible.

One of the best hidden white sandy beaches in Whangaparaoa, Auckland. Dog friendly, lots of parking, clean toilets, children playground, even outdoor shower . Plenty of trees for shade, bbq, picnic. The beach is calm and perfect for kids and adult swimming ‍ .

Love this beach. Love how it changes. The rock formations at low tide are incredible if they aren't covered in sand.

Our dog loves a good trot along this beach. His fav! Plus its difficult for him to run off so thats bonus...he cant go visiting people in their gardens!
