Takapuna Bar

Fairly basic but to be expected as it really is just a public bar. For what is offered it is a tiny bit on the high side when it comes to pricing but overall the atmosphere kind'a makes up for that. Huge outdoor area which is well patronized especially Thursday to Sunday.

They were training new staff. A friend and I were drinking Guinness and Pale Ale. Thinking that ours was a good order for the new guys to learn to pull, we sat there and drank a while lot more than we paid for! And the barman replaced a beer he heard me spill. Can't think of any better reasons to leave a 5 star review! Great place!

A buzzing corner bar, perfect for a jug and a spot of people watching. Great staff, sport on telly and pokies if that's what your in to.

Had a good outdoor spot for lunch. Beers were served well. Food served quickly. ...where are the curly fries?

You might call this corner spot a dive, but with live music and the outdoor benches, seats, and tables, it's not so bar for a quick pint. This outdoor area really reminds me of drinking outside on the streets of London. Beer tap selection is basically all Mac's.
