Tailevu Sports is a non-profit community group consisting of volunteers from the Tailevu Fiji Community in Auckland, New Zealand.
HISTORY
The Tailevu 7s Tournament is one of the longest running Pacific Island 7s tournaments in New Zealand, beginning in 1999. The aim of the Tailevu 7s tournament has been to prepare players for the upcoming rugby season, post Christmas break. During recent years, national representative players have been using the Tailevu tournament as preparation for the IRB Wellington Sevens which is held a week after our tournament.
