The server is very friendly and attentive. It’s a busy place that you need to make reservation in advance. Overall it’s a great experience. The only thing was I did make a reservation but they accommodated me but we had to finish our food quite quickly before the next party came in. Ramen and fried chicken were tasty. Kid-friendliness: The food is mild that kids can enjoy. The cushioned seats make it comfortable for them too.

Great location just outside merivale mall with lots of parking. Staff very super friendly and accommodating. Food came out fast, lots of vegan options to choose from. Definitely one of the good ramen places in Chch, the soup was a little too light for my taste but the noodles, man!, so good, perfectly cooked to Al dente, great textures, not sure if it’s home made or what, but it surely tasted fresher and different from all the other ramen in town. And everything else is spot on in the bowl too. The pork and fried chicken, on the other hand, is too normal and seemed overpriced in comparison.

Splendid food and very lovely Cafè! Fresh food/seafood products in absolutely every dish u order. Very nice and helpful staff. We'll definitely be back again soon. Can recommend, absolutely!

My third time eating here in the last 10 days. Tasty hot food at reasonable price, good service and I'm glad to have found. Just right for a break from work.Food: 5/5

One of the eight grains chains featuring small plate and sharing. Very nicely decorated interior. Reality like the vibe they created and offered. Superb staff quality, attentive and helpful. Creative smoothies and Asian fusion plates to choose from. We tried their spicy ramen which was good but not different from their ramen from other shops. Chicken katsu don with egg and miss soup was standard but pricey. I enjoy their smoothie. It's quite small and they gave me the wrong stroll to start with and the fruit got stuck in it, they then offered me a bigger stroll for bubble tea after I asked. But I still struggled with the even larger fruit but couldn't be bothered to asked for a drink spoon anymore.

Had take away lunch for the first time, grilled salmon poke and pork & coriander dumplings - amazing, delicious, incredible. I often get bored of salads half way through hence the dumplings but this poke was 10/10, I was scraping the bowl. Will be back!

Delicious chicken ramen and beef rendang. Eight grains dumplings are not to our likings tho. Will be back to try other dishes.
