Came here for a Sunday roast, was very quiet & seemed still to be a shortage of staff with people calling loudly for drinks. However, we were served quickly. We had the roast pork, it looked great and tasted really good too! And you have the great option of asking for extra potatoes, Yorkshires and Gravy. The place had a nice atmosphere and was clean and tidy,with staff very friendly. Enjoyed our meal here, and would come back!
First time ordering from China Kitchen and was impressed with the quality of the food. Good portion size, tasty authentic flavour and friendly service. Will make this our regular Chinese from now on!
Enjoyed a Sunday roast at The Amsterdam. The food was piping hot with fresh vegetables and plenty of gravy. Service was good although it was fairly quiet at around 7pm when we ate. No complaints
Considering how many branches of Costa there are in Brighton - this is perhaps the best location. However Lack lustre, slow, service. Dirty unclear tables & Many of the items of food unavailable really don’t help. The cafe is large with an lots of tables & larger downstairs seating area. They forgot one of our drinks, but did give us a larger one at no extra cost. It was lunch time & they were busy. Still a disappointing lunch not the usual Costa standard.
Best chinese out or the dozen or so I've been to in Brighton, but since accepting cards became ubiquitous during Covid, it seems ironic that many Chinese takeaways are the only businesses still remaining "cash only". Why is that? Should HMRC pay a visit? PAY YOUR TAXES! Parking: None on street. Use retail park opposite
Really pleasant friendly staff and great tasting food. Very fresh and flavourful. Everything around £5 on the menu and definitely worth the price for the generous portions. I can't recommend enough!
I ordered from here recently and was really disappointed by the quality of food I received. Normally when I order, the food is good and I am left feeling satisfied. However this particular order, the fried rice was over cooked and salty and I could not eat everything I ordered. Also they missed something from my order which I had paid extra for. It may have just been a one off but it has definitely made me reluctant to order from here again.
Really nice food so hot and fresh also really quick delivery! Best Chinese I've ate in Brighton so far.
I have been using these for 40 + years and always been very impressed. Since it's been taken over it's gone downhill. My rice was a solid lump that could not be separated and the whole meal was cold. I will not be using them again
Great value for money and tasty good. Only downside is that they only accept cash.
