Fabulous spot for sushi! The chef is brilliant - he even greets all customers with a traditional Irasshaimase! The seafood is extremely fresh and they even boast a host of delicious deserts to please all palates. Friendly attentive service also. I think you’ve got to be on the bar Watching the chef is a treat Food: 5/5
One of the best feelings in the world is to be starving, you sit down, and immediately get to eat. That's the perks of sushi train. As soon as you sit down you can pick up a plate and munch! Quality is consistent, and ordering a la carte is easy and quick too.
Good variety of sushi more than the Chancery location. They have toro fatty tuna but in limited quantities. If you’re into rolls, their volcano rolls are tasty and quite stacked. Also had a chicken katsu with melted cheese roll that was nice. Staff were friendly and efficient.
We had an awesome Sunday lunch here. So many delicious treats to choose from and the staff are super helpful and friendly. My favorites were the sushi wraps that were made to order, we ended up ordering four of them between two of us. All the tuna sushi rolls we tried were epic too. James Ashwin Kakapo Business Sales
It was great! The chef was hyping us up to eat the fresh dishes he put on the train. The fish was fresh and we had a great time. Food comes really fast.
Sushi train always suit sushi lover lover the vacanol and the sashimi no super fresh. Meaty Tuna is just okay! No very recommended. But still can’t say no for their sushi. Need to go back one more timeZ
With high google reviews I had higher expectations than I probably should have. I never go full in when checking out a sushi place like this so I started with my favorite Hamachi, and Unagi. Neither of them were that good. The fish is thin and the rice is so so. They charge $1 for hot tea, which is usually something sushi restaurants give out as free service. 4 pieces of mediocre sushi and cup of tea for $16. New World market has better sushi for $13 and would been twice the amount of the food. The only thing I liked about this place is that many of the workers were Japanese. I will not be returning here. You can pull sushi off the moving tray, or order directly with the sushi chefs. They gave me a marker with the menu, maybe I could have marked the ones I wanted and handed it to them also.
Sushi were nice but the karaage chicken was something I never experienced before. When I asked the waitress, who said the black colour of the chicken is normal how it should be. I don’t think so… I dont think you should serve such meals and I am surprised that your waitress didn’t agree. Otherwise the staff was friendly.
I have never had experience in eating tuna sashimi needs to spit out the white strips stuff. When I asked the chef, she said it’s normal I expected higher quality than what I paid for!
Delicious fresh food with a nice range to choose from, found the ordering system a bit confusing especially when it was hard to actually tell what I was eating, but the lady at the counter was nice enough to help me out. Seating is a little tight, but the price was reasonable, staff were super friendly and it is a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back
