Visited a Beautiful lady. Communal spaces are welcoming. Extra rain has made it difficult to keep flooding from spoiling walks by the pretty stream. A pleasant place to retire.
This is a well set out retirement village we deliver meals to residents here. They are all very happy with the environment and we find the staff to be very friendly and very helpful. There is a reasonable amount of parking at the units. The landscaping is particularly great and well maintained. The units look to be of a good size. If I was to retire into this type of lifestyle I would give this place serious consideration.
My grandmother spent her last years here. The grounds are beautiful, the buildings well kept and the staff attentive. The other residents were friendly. They offer a wide range of home, from independent to close care.
I love this retirement village. The atmosphere is special. People are friendly. The cafe has very fresh home made food on the premises. Lots of choices with small portions that suit an older person!! Some views overlook the river and there's a path you can walk right beside it. My sister is here and if I didn't have my home in Auckland this would be a beautiful place to live. There's care if you need it. Lots of activities also. Its over to you if you want to join in. Watched some ladies doing line dancing. Such fun.nFood I ordered was bangers & mash. Yummy. Daughter had corn fritters and my older sister a tasty looking sandwich.nMust take some photos next time.
Lovely warm friendly atmosphere to the entire place. Great place to have your elderly loved ones living!!
