Always a pleasent experience dealing with the Warkworth JA Russell crew. Well stocked shelves, competitive pricing, staff who know whats best suited for the application and all round great service. Highly recommended for your electrical requirements.
Used these a couple of times in the past and was always totally shocked by their prices. During lockdown I decided to pop in for some 2.5 2C plus E cable. I’ve been buying it from Mitre10 and Bunnings so I know that I need is not pay anything more than $3 a meter inc gst. Just been in now to J A Russell and they said they would give me 72% discount. I thought fair enough but they pumped up the price again to $20.87 + gst per meter so I ended up paying $5.84 plus GST after 72% discount. It would be good to support local businesses as long as they supported you. This company can smile and steal from you at the same time. Open your eyes everybody and shop elsewhere. If they doing this to the general public then they will be doing it to trades and the trades simply pass it on to the public. Shameful … there is profit and then they’re stealing
Useless service. Went in for a bulb for my oven, didn't have one so I ask if they can get one in. Yes 2 to 3 working days will call me. No call go in a week later,not there will check up and call me. Been a month now. So got one from another shop, half the price. If you don't want to get in a part then just say so don't waste people's time. Will never enter a j a Russell again.
Good friendly service, mostly knowledgeable tho they didn't know that the standard Philips 'outdoor' sensor lights are not IP rated adequately for outdoors. The only waterproof option is expensive but worth it
Three times the price of buying elsewhere. May be ok if you are trade but Paid $27 for right angle HDMI connection which is $17 at Noel Leeming and $7 at PBtech. Found the few other things I’ve bought there extortionately priced. Will be trying to avoid in future.
