We are not people who go to doctors for every cough and sneeze. However, we are used to overseas doctors who assist who treat the sickness and if they can't manage alleviate the symptoms. On Sunday after been sick for three days and coughing up yellow and green phlegm my wife and I thought it wise to go to the doctor. The only advice we were given was that it might be a virus and would pass in one or two weeks. We were sent on our way without any medication and a letter confirming that I was unfit to resume school ???? I am a 64 year old civil engineer. What a waste of time. It has now been 5 days, missed three days of work and still both our coughs and fevers have continued. After hearing that someone else went to the same place but saw a different doctor and received antibiotics. We called again to see which doctor was on duty to ensure that we did not get the same doctor, we were told that they are not allowed to divulge who is on duty. Really frustrated with no power to do anything but ask advice from chemists on how to self medicate.
The reception lady that greeted and served me this morning, thank you! After sitting in the waiting room for two hours I popped back outside and realised I had completely ignored the HUGE BOARD upon entrance. We were meant to return to our car and call reception with the symptoms displayed on board.nEmbarrassing! Thank you for not passing judgement and finding us an isolation room for my daughter. The wait time was a killer BUT endurable. Understandable with one doctor on. Tobias was awesome too thank you all so much!!
Got refused to a X-ray by the radiologist for my lungs Monday so if I die it’s on them
Visit - December 2022. No mandates in place. No mandatory mask wearing at the time.nnWe had a horrible experience here. Refused service despite arriving during opening hours because the Dr wanted to go home. My child was injured.nnThe next day I returned with my injured child. I was told I had to wear a mask despite an exemption. Refused to allow us service without my mask on. I wore it because my child needed care. I ended up having a panic attack.nnThe ONLY saving grace of this visit was the Dr who happily let me remove my mask and went above and beyond to help us.nnThe chemist joined to the urgent care also refused to serve me without a mask.nnI will not be back.
Ian reception used to be so happy and friendly when he started. Now he is miserable, unhappy and covertly angry. Exactly like what happened with Warkworth medical reception. What happened??????
