Wonderful family owned kebab shop with amazing food kebabs big and packed with so many fillings, chips cooked perfect every time and the family are wonderful people great customer service and always smiley check then out!

gave me the wrong order, i live too far away and am not willing to drive back over the other side of town to get the correct food. very disappointing

Ok so I am a bit of a Kebab connisseur visiting New Plymouth for a couple of weeks. Ordered 3 for the family as Sumela was round the corner. We all had large kebabs. They were huge, with lots of meat, excellent value for money and very tasty. I would highly recommend these kebabs. Chips were also superb. Garlic bread was ok. Overall I was very suprised, larger kebabs were very good value and when I return will come straight to Sumela Kebab next time. Staff were friendly and prices very reasonable. Parking right outside.
