best Turkish food! The Chicken Iskender and Chicken Skewers were even the kiddie meal was yummy. I love how they give beetroot sauce and other sauces including hummus Definitely gonna visit again whenever we are in New Plymouth Dietary restrictions: halal

I used to love the food here but a recent experience has soured my opinion. Not long after my mixed iskender was served to me, a fruit fly came out of my salad and started walking all over the food. After I gave up and just got rid of the salad, I found a short and curly black hair in the meat. The guy who served us was the only saving grace as he was super polite, but he'd obviously just started working there. All in all, this experience was enough to make me never want to come here again.

I recently had a great dining experience at Cafe Turquoise in New Plymouth. The food was delicious, with a wide range of options to choose from. Food was fantastic, mixed iskender was a large portion that was very tasty and filling. Fresh salads and well seasoned meats. Service was fast and efficient from professional staff, no complaints. Atmosphere is good, clean, relaxed, not cramped, indoor and outdoor seating. Reasonably priced, good location. The experience was so good I went back again the next day. Currently visiting NP and was looking for place to eat at times where most restaurants are on siesta break..., glad to find out cafe turquoise. Service is friendly and quick and most of all good is good and tasty. Meats are cooked properly serves with 4 sauces and did I say, salad here is made fresh. Thank you cafe turquoise for a nice meal, will see you again before we head back to Akl.

Standardised and fast but very good and fresh food. Our go to place before a show at the TSB showplace. Three of us ordered kebabs. They come on a plate but in foil. Perfectly adequate. You know what you are getting and it's good value.Food: 4/5

Unbeatable Kebab! Best i have tasted in NZ. Great if they open a branch in Auckland!! Owner told me all the kebab meats are selfmade....not bought! Highly recommended.

Have not been for a while had meat on fries.. the lamb was lovely but i could not eat the fries. It was almost as if they had a accident with the salt pot. Think i had 5 year intake of salt on my plate..think i left nearly all my chips.. really disappointingFood: 2/5
